Founded by Matthew, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in construction, Purple Penguin-UK was created from a genuine desire to deliver modern, comfortable and secure homes that feel welcoming — while also offering strong, sustainable investment opportunities.

Matthew’s expertise in construction and home renovation ensures that every property is thoughtfully designed, well-built and optimised for both living and long-term value.

Joanna, now Matthew’s wife and business partner, brings extensive experience from the hospitality sector. She successfully built and managed her own hotel from concept to completion and has managed numerous properties over the years. Her eye for detail, guest experience and operational excellence ensures that every Purple Penguin-UK property is run to the highest standard.

Together, as a married couple and business partners, we combine technical knowledge, hospitality expertise and a modern mindset to create homes — and partnerships — that truly work.
